Today we had on organizational meeting at the Dojo, trying to estasblish a new order. The first step seems to be to write a mission statement. This is easier said than done;as it must be inclusive but not restrictive. Everyone seems to have strong opinions as to what this is but no one can quite articulate it. We agreed to do a survey of members and to reconviene in a month to write or at least start writing the Mission Statement. Over all the meeting was good and I think new energy is begining to build.

It might be a good thing for us to look at a mission statement for ki no kenkykai(if there is one) and tie our mission statement to theirs. I think ultimately our mission is to support Tohei Sensei's vision for shin shin toitsu aikido
